Welcome to the Leigh Referees Development Group Website.

Leigh Referees Development Group (previously known as the Leigh Referees Society) has been in existence since the turn of the last century (1917).

The development group offers a support network for referees in the Leigh & district area.

Monthly meetings are held, with the objectives of development, support & discussion of all things 'refereeing'.

We have "Guest Speakers" on a regular basis, which include eminent figures from both local and national background's, who offer insight and advice to members, on a vast range of topics.

The group offers mentoring, to young referees & the meetings are preceded by a fitness & training session at Leigh Sports Village.

If you are interested in becoming a referee or a member of the development group, or just wish to attend a meeting to see if its for you, feel free to come along.
